5 QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR DRIVING INSTRUCTOR
(To help you choose the right one!)
1. Are you fully qualified?
There are a number of instructors in the area who are not! Large driving schools are training people to become instructors offering good pay, "free car", be your own boss and here's the big one...no experience nessessary! and sending them out to teach without them taking the qualifing exam. Make sure your instructor displays a green approved driving instructor licence in the front window of there car, if its a red/pink triangle your instructor has not yet qualified.
2. What experience do you have?
Do you want to be taught by someone with no relevent experience considering you will rely on your driving ability to keep you safe for the rest of your life.
3. What is your pass rate?
The national average pass rate is arround 42% how ever many good instructors acheve much better than this.
4. Are you local?
There's the highway code and theres the way we should drive. Then there's local knowlege where things just don't happen the way they should! It's essential your instructor can guide you round these points so your ready for it on your test.
5. Are you pass plus registered?
When you've passed your test you may want to take the pass plus course. to improve your driving skill's, introduce you to night driving and motorway driving. this inturn should reduce your insurance. Dose your instructor have the relevent experiance to teach this and are they registered to do so legaly.
